Picture Climate Justice is a global initiative that empowers people around the world at a grassroots level to capture images of people and planet being impacted by climate change - then instantly uploading them to a platform where they will be on display for the world to see.
By encouraging and empowering everyone around the world to take Pictures of Climate Justice issues with their phones, Right Here, Right Now seeks to engage and empower people at a local level to make a difference on a global stage.
THE PICTURES
Picture Climate Justice will highlight compelling imagery - illustrating courage, despair, hope, injustice and compassion, in ways small and large. Images taken by ordinary people will serve to inspire everyone to personally get involved and to take a stand for climate Justice. The images will also bear witness to what is actually taking place on a local basis - to people and planet.
By providing a public forum for everyone around the world to capture and post images that convey that climate change is a human rights crisis, Picture Climate Justice will help democratize and humanize climate change so everyone will have the ability to be seen and heard.
