2023 BOULDER IMPACT FORUM
ABOUT
The Right Here, Right Now Boulder Impact Forum hosted by UN Human Rights and the University of Colorado Boulder was staged in Boulder Colorado from April 13 - 16, 2023. During the Forum, an expert panel was convened to discuss the Human Rights Climate Commitment and provide an update on presenting them to the 193 Member States of the United Nations at the UN Conference on Climate Change in Dubai (COP28).
The panel moderated by Heidi VanGenderen, the Chief Sustainability Officer at the University of Colorado Boulder included:
- Joe Neguse, Colorado Congressman
- Jonathan Koehn, Chief Sustainability and Resilience Officer for the City of Boulder
- Ben Schachter, Team Leader for Climate and the Environment at UN Human Rights
- Jim Anaya, former Dean of the University of Colorado Law School
- Kathryn Wendell, Executive Director of the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at CU Boulder’s Leeds School of Business
- Will Toor, Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Office
